If it were 10 years ago, still in the era of 2G and 3G, it would be relatively easy to achieve mobile jammers that only interfere with voice and not data at this stage. Due to the division of labor in the frequency band at that time, 2G mainly handled voice call services. 3G can be used for both voice calls and data transmission. When only voice call functions need to be retained, only the 3G frequency band in the mobile jammer needs to be left on. The 2G frequency band still retains a very low network speed data communication, but such low communication cannot meet the data traffic requirements on mobile applications.
However, in the process of communication development, from 4G to 5G, the division of communication frequency bands for mobile phones has undergone significant adjustments and changes compared to before. The original 2G frequency band no longer exists, and many places have already removed the mobile base stations of the original 2G network. The original 3G frequency band, a large part of which has been replaced with the 4G frequency band for use. Moreover, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile phones all support both voice and data. With the development of communication, we are no longer able to distinguish between voice and data based on the working frequency of the phone. Similarly, we cannot make effective distinctions in the setting and selection of interference frequencies for mobile jammers.
