Can the network jammer adjust the frequency band power output?

The vast majority of common network jammers on the market do not have power regulation functions, such as those used for signal blocking in exam halls or conference halls. However, there are still some customer groups who hope that network jammers have power regulation functions. The purpose of doing so is not to shield the signal range from being too large, thereby affecting or interfering with other unrelated areas. So, is a network jammer with power regulation adjusted as a whole or in frequency bands to adjust the transmission power?

From the perspective of the customer user, the customer naturally hopes that the power adjustment operation of the exam room network interference machine can be simple, convenient, and fast to achieve the goal. For example, adjusting the output power can be achieved through a physical power adjustment knob. However, the unfortunate result is that such expectations are actually difficult to achieve. It is basically not feasible to achieve overall power regulation through a simple knob.

Why is there such a conclusion? That's because the network jammer targets signals in various frequency bands and formats, and is composed of at least ten shielding modules divided by frequency bands. Each shielding module only interferes with signals in the current frequency range. Taking mobile phone signals as an example, even in the same location, the signal strength received by different frequency bands and formats of mobile phone signals from the base station actually varies. The result of this difference is that the effective shielding distance of network jammers varies when targeting mobile phone signals of different frequency bands and formats, and sometimes the difference is very large. It is obviously inappropriate to use only one adjustable potentiometer to adjust the overall power of the network jammer. The correct approach is to adjust it separately for different frequency bands. This is why we can see that for network jammers with power adjustment function, the number of power adjustment knobs is very large, and the number of these adjustment knobs corresponds to the shielding module one by one.

To summarize, the power adjustment of network jammers can relatively accurately control the effective shielding range. However, if users only rely on the power adjustment knob to achieve a general adjustment, if they want to achieve more accurate range control, we suggest that the manufacturer of network jammers should carry a professional wireless signal spectrum analyzer to adjust the power level, By utilizing the display and analysis of power from a spectrograph, the ultimate ideal effect can be achieved.
