5G mobile jammer

Today, 5G networks have been widely deployed and applied, and 5G base stations have also completed large-scale construction nationwide, and the corresponding 5G mobile jammers have also been upgraded and iterated, synchronously increasing the shielding for 5G signals. Function. Careful customers will find that the number of antennas of the new version of the 5G mobile jammer is obviously several more than that of the previous shielding device. Why is this? Can the number of antennas be reduced?

The first question to understand is why today's 5G mobile jammers have an increased number of antennas. This is because the 5G communication of various telecom operators has adopted new communication frequency bands, such as 700MHz, 3400MHz, 3500MHz, 4800MHz, etc. 5G frequency bands have been added, and some frequency bands have also been adjusted, such as the 2555-2655MHz originally used by China Mobile. , it was originally used as 4G communication, but in order to better meet the application requirements of 5G, it was spread to 2515-2675MHz. It can be seen from these newly added and adjusted frequency bands that in order to achieve effective signal shielding for 5G mobile phones, the new version of 5G mobile jammers must increase the corresponding shielding modules for these frequency bands, and each module must also correspond to an antenna. Moreover, the original 2G, 3G and 4G shielding modules and antennas still need to be retained, so the final result is that the total number of antennas can only be increased.

So can the number of antennas for 5G mobile jammers be reduced? There are ways to reduce it, that is, to select a part of the shielding module, first combine its output signals into one channel through the combiner, and then output the shielded signal through the antenna. The available combiners are two-in-one-out, or three-in-one-out, but the use of the combiner will bring two negative problems: the first problem is the shielding of the signal after combining, The frequency bandwidth it covers will increase a lot, which puts forward higher requirements for the standing wave performance of the antenna, and also has a certain impact on the parameters of the standing wave ratio. The second problem is the increase in hardware costs. Because if the cost of the combiner is compared with the cost of the antenna, the cost of a single antenna is much cheaper.

To sum up, most manufacturers of 5G mobile jammers, in the absence of special requirements from customers, consider the production cost and technical indicators of shielding equipment, and most of them will use a shielding module corresponding to a transmitting antenna. Reducing the number of antennas will not be a priority for now.
