Get the most out of your smartphone battery
"On Android Lollipop, Marshmallow and the new iOS 9, there are features called Doze and Low Power Mode," said Mobile Programmer Derek Pacula.

Android's new Doze feature automatically puts your phone into a sleep state when you stop using it for a while, thus helping conserve battery.
Low Power Mode on your iPhone helps reduce its functions like auto mail checking and visual effects.
"It will turn off all push notifications if you can have an email client and it will stop data syncing in the background," Pacula said.
You'll want to make sure it's turned on by going into your Settings, click Battery then hit Low Power Mode on.
Another way to extend battery life on both your iPhone and Android device is to turn off auto-brightness and adjust it manually and turn off location-related system services.
Apps like Google Maps and Apple Maps use your location all the time. While it may be useful knowing where you are, ads are being displayed based on your location while traffic data is constantly being updated, draining your battery much faster.
Also, as tempting as it may be, don't check your phone every time you have a new notification or message. (from ketv.om)
