The reason why the network jammer can interfere with the cell phone signal is that the signal transmitted by the jammer and the cell phone signal transmitted by the base station are in the same frequency band. The signal transmitted by the base station provides services for the cell phone, while the signal transmitted by the network jammer is a white noise signal, also known as interference signal. Within the coverage range of the jammer, the cell phone signal strength is not as strong as the interference signal, and the cell phone cannot recognize the signal of the base station, As a result, the mobile phone cannot connect to the base station, and the service of the base station cannot be obtained. The mobile phone will display the status of no signal or limited service.
Then there are 8 BTSs distributed within 300 meters around the examination room, and the straight-line distance between some BTSs and the examination room is within 100 meters. In this case, it can be basically determined that the examination room cannot interfere with mobile phone signals through normal channels. The distance between the base station and the examination room is too close. The signal from the base station to the examination room is very strong. The low-power network jammer is basically ineffective in this scene. Even if high-power jammers are used, the interference range is limited, and it is unlikely to configure too many high-power machines. After all, the higher the transmission power, the higher the cost of the equipment.
In this case, there is still a way to interfere with the mobile phone signal on the site. You can coordinate with the operator to adjust the transmission power of the base station, or adjust the direction of the antenna on the base station so that the main lobe of the antenna does not face the examination room. This practice is to reduce the signal strength in the examination room, so as to play the real role of the network jammer. Normally, you can only coordinate processing from the perspective of the base station. If it is during the college entrance examination, you don't need to spend too much time on this situation, because during the college entrance examination, all relevant departments will cooperate and operators will also participate. At this time, the base stations around the examination venue will basically be adjusted. At this time, the use of network jammers can meet the purpose of interfering with mobile phone signals.
