How to choose the most ideal installation location for telephone jammers?
In the current various types of exam processes, telephone jammers have almost reached complete popularity, and they have become an important tool to maintain order in exam rooms and ensure fairness and impartiality in exams. During the process of building standardized examination halls, various examination centers often ask our manufacturers a question: What is the ideal installation location for telephone jammers in classrooms that serve as examination halls?
A few years ago, when the telephone jammer was only used to block the 2G and 3G signals of mobile phones, some examination halls did not yet adopt the method of fixed installation of the jammer, but instead used a unified distribution before the exam and a unified recycling after the exam. However, the consequence of doing so is that the storage and maintenance of the equipment is relatively cumbersome, and during the distribution and recycling process, it is easy to cause unintentional damage to the equipment, and sometimes it is also easy to lose equipment components. Later on, when 4G and 5G signals became common, the telephone jammer underwent several iterations, resulting in a significant increase in equipment size, frequency band, and antenna count. If centralized distribution and recycling were adopted again, it would increase the workload and make preparation for exams more tedious. Therefore, fixing the telephone jammer in the classroom became an inevitable choice.
The most common installation method is wall mounted installation, so the problem arises. A classroom has four walls and one top surface. Where should the ideal installation location for wall mounted telephone jammers be?
The most convenient and reasonable location is the area on both sides of the blackboard on the front and back walls of the classroom, which is slightly higher. Usually, in the area mentioned earlier, at least one blank space will be found that is suitable for wall mounted telephone jammers, and the height after installation is also suitable, meeting the installation height requirements of 1.8 meters to 2.5 meters. This not only meets the requirements for signal coverage, but also prevents students from easily touching the phone jammer and maliciously damaging the device.
Secondly, the walls on both sides of the exam room are located in a relatively central position. When selecting such a location for installation, it is usually because the distance between the mobile phone base stations around the exam room is relatively close, resulting in a smaller shielding radius of the exam room telephone jammer. This can fully utilize the omnidirectional antenna transmission characteristics of the equipment, and thus consider the overall coverage effect within the exam room.
