Is the larger the interference range of the drone jamming equipment, the better?
There are many customers who intend to purchase drone jamming equipment. When consulting product functions and technical parameters, one of the more prominent concerns is how large is the jamming range of drone jamming equipment? Moreover, from the communication with customers, it can be clearly felt that it is hoped that the larger the scope of interference, the better, so is such a psychological expectation reasonable?
First of all, what we can clearly tell is that most of the current radio frequency transmitter modules of drone interference equipment have a transmission power value of about 5W to 50W, and the corresponding interference range, that is, the interference distance is usually is in the range of 500 meters to 5000 meters. Customers can choose the appropriate transmission power of drone jamming equipment according to the actual needs of their own units. Usually, the interference range of the drone can be controlled to be slightly larger than the space of your own unit. Do not blindly pursue a larger interference distance, otherwise it may cause unnecessary impact on the external environment.
Our recommendation is that the interference range of the optional drone jamming equipment is adequate. Pursuing to increase the transmission power and expand the interference range will not fully meet the actual needs, and will also increase the procurement cost.
As for the insufficient interference range of the drone jamming equipment reported by some customers, another possible reason is that the jamming frequency bands configured by the drone jamming device are not complete. For example, only the most basic drone navigation devices are installed.
