
Is the power adjustment of the mobile jammer an overall adjustment or a sub-band adjustment?
Most of the common mobile jammers on the market do not have power adjustment functions, such as those used for signal shielding in the examination room or for signal shielding in the venue, but there are still some customer groups who hope that the shielding equipment has power adjustment function. The purpose of doing this is that most of them never want to shield the signal range from being too wide, affecting or interfering with other unrelated areas from the surface. Then, for the mobile jammer with power adjustment, it is the overall adjustment or sub-band adjustment of transmission. What about power?
Looking at this problem from the perspective of customer users, the customer certainly hopes that when the operation of power adjustment of the mobile jammer can be achieved simply, conveniently and quickly. For example, the output power can be adjusted through a physical power adjustment knob. However, the very regrettable result is that such expectations are actually difficult to achieve. The way to achieve overall power adjustment with a simple knob is basically impossible.
Why is there such a conclusion? That is because the mobile jammer is composed of at least ten shielding modules according to the division of frequency bands for signals of various frequency bands and formats. Each shielding module only interferes with the signal of the current frequency band. Let's take the mobile phone signal as an example. Even if the mobile phone signal of different frequency bands and different formats is in the same location, the signal strength it receives from the base station is actually different. The result of this difference is that the effective shielding distance of the mobile jammer for different frequency bands and different standards of mobile phone signals is also different, and sometimes the difference is very large. It is obviously inappropriate to use only one adjustable potentiometer to adjust the overall power of the mobile jammer. The correct approach must be to adjust separately for each different frequency band. This is why we can see the situation: any mobile jammer with power adjustment function has a very large number of power adjustment knobs, and the number of these adjustment knobs corresponds to the shielding module one-to-one.
Finally, we would like to add that the power adjustment of the mobile jammer can relatively precisely control the effective shielding range. However, if the user only relies on the adjustment of the power adjustment knob, it can only be a general adjustment. If you want to achieve more accurate range control, we recommend that the manufacturer of the mobile jammer carry a professional wireless signal spectrum analyzer.
