The shielding range of the jammer is proportional to its own transmission power. The greater the power, the greater the shielding range. Although there are other factors that affect the effective shielding range of the jammer, such as: whether there are obstacles in the signal transmission path, The material and thickness of obstacles, as well as the strength of on-site mobile phone signals, etc. Combining the influence of these factors, it can be concluded that the shielding range of the interference signal is not actually a fixed value, so some customers will ask: Is the shielding range the transmission distance of the interference signal?

Obviously, the shielding range of jammers is large or small. According to the current transmission power of various types of jammers, there are many products with a single-channel transmission power ranging from 1W to 100W, and the coverage of their interference signals is limited. The radius ranges from 1 meter to 500 meters. In some special cases, the radius of 500 meters will be exceeded, but it will not be much higher than the radius of 500 meters. This is basically the limit that most current jammer manufacturers can achieve. That is to say, the limit of the shielding range of the interference signal is about 500 meters in radius.

However, if the interference signal of the jammer in question is transmitted, what is the transmission distance, this value will be much larger than the effective shielding range of the interference signal. The effective shielding range refers to the range in which the mobile phone will be completely shielded (interferenced) when the interference signal prevails during the game between the interference signal and the base station signal of the mobile phone. In fact, the signal strength of the interference signal emitted by the jammer will gradually attenuate with the increase of the transmission distance. When the interference signal is not attenuated enough to completely suppress the signal of the mobile phone base station, then the mobile phone base station signal is occupied. With the upper hand, the mobile phone will appear to be unable to be completely shielded (interfered) or to have no shielding effect at all.

The shielding range of the jammer is generally within a radius of 1-500 meters, and the transmission distance of the jamming signal can generally be at least 1Km, while the high-power jammer, the interference signal can reach 5Km or even 10Km.
