Principle

Working principle of wireless signal detector(anti-tapped/anti-recording):Broadband simulation test mode, receiving and detecting the strength of tapping transmission signal, according to the variety relationship between detected position and signal strength, discover and determine the specific location of tapping.

Application

Wireless tapping(video tapping, recording) refers to delivering stolen information by electromagnetic emissions form, it is a generic name for wireless tapping/secretly photos/secretly record. The wireless detector (anti record/mobile signal detector ) is used for special sites, to check if there is hidden wireless tapping device, discover  and determine the accurate location timely.

With the development of wireless tapping(secretly photo),the tapping performance is higher. Mainly in small size, low power, modulation complex, broadband, high-speed, remote control, easy to hidden, etc. So the difficulty of its detection is increased.

Component Description

Handheld, The SMA socket on the top is antenna socket, the two oval long holes on the front right panel is loudspeaker sound holes, there are 10 level LED instructions in the middle left, first is power LED from the left, from the second to tenth is detector LED, show the strength of signal.  The knob on the bottom is power switch and adjustable detector threshold.

Operation Description

1）The configuration of small antenna is screwed on the antenna base before use. Push down the battery cover, the 9V multi-layer positive and negative press tightly aligned(note the switch knob is on "off" before mounting battery ). Then close battery cover tightly;

2）The top knob clockwise twist to the right to hear a "click" sound when the device is turned on. At this time the first and second LED light up among 10 level LED indication. Adjust the knob clockwise continuously, it's the highest detector sensitivity when the third LED from left is going to light up. When the device is gradually approaching the working wireless-tapped(or ongoing communication mobile phone and other mobile communication equipment) ,the LED will light one by one, until all LED lighted up and the voice of loudspeaker changed from low to high. Now there may be a certain distance with wiretap, adjust the knob to make the third LED off , until the range narrowed to a few centimeters: LED indication multi-level changed, tone variations widely---the specific of wiretap, the process is repeated in general, to make sure the position.

3）Used for detecting whether the variation in field strength(20 to 30db or more)of the near-field electromagnetic signals in small range(few to tens of meters).Although some signal of far-field signal is strong, its changes a little in large range, can be excluded. Because of the difficult environment in each unit, the user should be familiar with their own work environment electromagnetic background.

4）Set the detection threshold before entering the scene, search and observe instructions in a certain interval after entering the scene, adjust the threshold according to the scene. Phone/desk lamp/fax and other office equipment should be detected in its power state, pay attention to variation of indication in near distance(if there is micro-power wiretap, even if detector in its highest sensitivity, the detector range is only several centimeters, and indicator has only few level changed ).The big changes within small range around various objects is suspicious and should be further investigation and analysis. Sometimes live space of a small area will also have the indication of big change, usually made of metal objects inside the building made form a standing wave, if there is no specific material (only air) can be excluded. If there is specific material, change position and detect again. The detection time can be greatly shortened within a familiar environment. And strange environment can shorten detection time through experience to analysis and process. Sometimes the user doesn't move but the indication has a sudden dramatic change, it's illustrated there are signal transmission near. Please note that exclude anyone with a mobile phone, but the mobile phone is also sometimes used to wiretapping! Also note that exclude microwave, cookers and other electrical leakage.

Considerations

1）Please choose the high quality batteries.

2）LED indicator is continuous, if one does not shine is an intermediate ,the device is faulty and needs repair. It is often need to replace the battery when the leftmost two LED flashes.

3）Sound alarm and LED indicator is synchronous, if there is only the sound or only light , equipment failure, in need of repair. If only indicates light, no sound, this is too high frequency, readjust the threshold.
