Whether seamless coverage of 20~6000MHz broadband is necessary in anti-remote control explosive jammers
With the further deterioration of the
international security environment, the police department has gradually begun
to increase the purchase quantity of anti-remote control explosive jammers for
the purpose of preventing terrorist attacks and security protection. Among the
technical specification requirements for anti-remote control explosive jammers,
some customers put forward the requirement of seamless broadband coverage, so
let's discuss today, is it necessary for seamless broadband coverage of 20~6000MHz?
The broadband seamless coverage proposed
here means that in the commonly used wireless spectrum frequency, the frequency
starts from 20MHz and ends at 6000MHz. Within this interval, the interference
signal emitted by the anti-remote control explosive jammer must be able to
achieve Complete, uninterrupted continuous coverage. This frequency span totals
5980MHz, almost equal to 6GHz. Experts in the field of radio frequency should
understand that it is not an easy task from a technical perspective to achieve
broadband signal coverage with a bandwidth of 6 GHz.
It is basically impossible to achieve the
coverage of the ultra-wideband jamming signal light with a bandwidth of 6GHz in
the anti-remote control explosive jammer, if only one jamming module is used to
achieve it. The reason is that under the existing technical conditions,
although the signal source (VCO) can use a digital signal source to provide a
6GHz ultra-wideband interference signal output, there is currently no suitable
power amplifier component for the selection of power amplifier components. Such
a wide-band output can be achieved through a power amplifier, and a new problem
will also be derived at the same time: there are almost no 6GHz ultra-wide-band
antennas, no matter whether it is a directional antenna or an omnidirectional
antenna, there is no antenna that can ensure such a wide range. In the wide
frequency range, the emission performance of the interference signal can be
fully exerted.
Since it is not feasible to use only one
jamming module in the anti-remote control explosive jammer, we can only solve
the problem of 6GHz ultra-wideband coverage by adopting a segmented and
multi-module approach. That is to divide 6GHz into at least 3 or even more
frequency bands. When multiple interference frequency bands are turned on at
the same time, they are combined together to achieve the effect of seamless
broadband coverage.
Regarding the question of whether the
20~6000MHz broadband seamless coverage in anti-remote control explosive jammers
is necessary, as a manufacturer, our opinion is negative. Because as mentioned
above, even through splitting and combining, the bandwidth span of the split
interference module will still be 2~3GHz. The actual finished product can only
be said to solve the problem of whether there is an interference signal or not.
, The strength of the interference signal output can be about 20dB higher than
the background noise. As for the extent to which such interference signal
strength can really play a role in interference, it is almost better than
nothing.
